| Name: Adam Farrell Position: CEO, Founder Bio: Adam Farrell founded Silicon Solar Inc while still a student at Sidney High School. A science project in Solar Energy peaked his interest in renewable energy, clean & green living, and helping people understand the benefits (ecological and financial) of implementing a solar energy solution in their own life. After High School, Adam went to Cornell University, where he recently graduated from. Adam Farrell has built Silicon Solar from a small home business to a multi-national corporation over the last near decade, and maintains an active and role in the day to day operations of the company as it continues to grow and expand. Adam has also been honored as a College Entrepreneur of the Year for his work in marketing, selling, and designing solar energy products at affordable prices. | Name: Matt Farrell Position: Vice President, Founder Bio: Matt Farrell is Adam’s older brother, and has been a key player in the Silicon Solar Team before there was a Silicon Solar Team beyond him and Adam. Matt is also a graduate of Cornell University. Matt spends much of his time working on the Human Resources and operations side of Silicon Solar, and maintaining the integrity of Silicon Solar’s Summer Internship Program, which the company operates through a partnership with Cornell University. Matt is a firm believer in renewable and solar energy, and his own home has a large array of SunMaxx Solar Hot Water Heaters on the roof to provide domestic hot water and radiant heat. | Name: Tammy Lambrecht-Mills Position: Office & Purchasing Manager Bio: Tammy came to Silicon Solar to fill a much needed Office Manager & Business Operations role. Tammy tracks the day to day operations of the workers at Silicon Solar’s main office in Bainbridge, NY. Her duties also include Human Resources and Purchasing Manager work. Tammy is a vital member of the Silicon Solar Team, and recently purchase a SunMaxx Solar Hot Water Heater for her home’s pool. | Name: Shirley Position: Accounting Manager Bio: Shirley came to Silicon Solar ready to just dive in with both hands. Daily tasks include managing money that is coming into the company and also leaving the company, along with payroll and working with the most confidential work. When Shirley first joined the Silicon Solar Team, she fell in love with the Solar Garden Lights offered and has recently redone the outside of her home along with her garden. | Name: Nikki Position: Customer Service Manager Bio: Nikki has been with Silicon Solar for almost 2 years, and currently works hard to maintain the Customer Service Team. Nikki is responsible for keeping returns low , damaged shipments low, missing items low and most of all, keeping our customers satisfied. | Name: Christy Position: Customer Service Representative Bio: Christy first joined Silicon Solar’s Team with only one other Representative in Customer Service. In between phone calls, Christy learned how to manage and take care of the customers in an orderly fashion. Christy still manages the phones and now also handles all of our UPS Damage Claims, following up on them everyday to be sure to get the most for our customers. | Name: Andrew Position: Solar Lighting Division Manager/Ithaca Office Manger Bio: Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Silicon Solar Family, and is currently working hard as the Product Specialist for many key product lines including our EnviroLight Solar Billboard Lights, our line of Solar Panels, Solar Battery Chargers, and customized PV Systems for homes, offices and a plethora of other applications. Throughout his life, Andrew has visited several developing nations as a photographer, and has made it is his personal cause to help make solar energy an affordable and efficient option for providing power to these nations who are in need of assistance. | Name: Josh K Position: Integrated PV Division Manager Bio: Josh has been with Silicon Solar since the opening of the Bainbridge, NY office, and has worn many hats in his time with the company. Josh is very experienced in electrical work, solar energy. His duties currently Technical Assistance and Trouble Shooting, Ongoing Training of the Customer Service Team, Developing the Silicon Solar Database with informative guides and information, and overseeing the warehouse, manufacturing and assembly teams. | Name: Matt B Position: Solar Hot Water Division Manager/Sales Manager Bio: Matthew came to Silicon Solar because of his firmly held beliefs in the in the importance of renewable energy in fighting many of the social, political, financial and environmental issues that face the country, and the whole world today. Matthew started off as a sales representative for the SunPal and SunMaxx lines of products, and currently provides technical and logistical support to the growing sales team, and does much of the design and website work for Silicon Solar, while continuing to work with several customers on large projects. Matthew is currently looking to purchase a SunMaxx Solar Hot Water Heater for his new home to provide both domestic hot water and radiant floor heating. | Name: Jen L Position: Solar Lighting Specialist Bio: Jen brings her sense of charm and ability to the Silicon Solar Team with one focus on her mind: help spread the word of Renewable Energy. With her main focus on Solar Lighting, Jen has made herself familiar with not only solar lighting, but solar heating, solar pumps and fountains, along with solar pv electric panels. With a round-about knowledge on most of our products, Jen is happy to assist any lost phone call. After recently planting her own organic garden, Jen found our Solar Mosquito Bug zapper most handy and then the touch of Solar Garden Lights really set the look off and is always receiving compliments. Finding his home in Solar Hot Water, Larry has an extensive background in plumbing and electrical work helping him with hooking up Solar Hot Water Systems. Larry has a good sense of humor and enjoys being the jokester. Larry works closely with our Solar Hot Water Wholesale Division and setting up Dealers. Francesco has been off on Trade Shows and goes back in forth from our Bainbridge, NY office to our White Plains, NY office. A busy man and yet a hard worker. Daily tasks include billing orders that come through, labeling the orders and get ready for shipments, along with watching stock counts so nothing is out of stock. Jess has a busy day but always manages to get things out the door on time and to your doorstep with little to no damage expected. From different rearrangements in one warehouse to moving supplies to another local warehouse, Willie has been Silicon Solar’s main warehouse worker. Willie does most of the warehouse training including picking an order to be packed, building a solar kit, and then onto packaging the order. | Name: Mike Position: Warehouse Worker Bio: Mike is a new comer to the Silicon Solar Team with a background in the technical field. Main daily tasks consist of taking care of returned products and testing them to reship when ready. Mike focuses on building products as well as working with the shipping department to get the packages out on time. Mike is responsible for arranging shipping of every product that goes out the warehouse door at Silicon Solar, and is the team’s go to person when there is a question about a missing package, a late shipment. Toni brings warehouse experience with picking completed orders to packaging them safely and getting the order out in a timely manner. Due to Mary’s high strung beliefs on Renewable Energy tied in with Customer Satisfaction, Mary fit the job in the Warehouse to help package and get the shipments out on time and delivered safely. | Name: Brian Position: IT & Web Development Manager Bio: Brian came to Silicon Solar to fill a much needed position of a webmaster. Through long days and long nights, Brian still works hard to build a system and write different scripts. Brian has helped develop different web pages and different program for Silicon Solar and is still writing new plans for future programs. Brian is always on a computer and recently purchased Solar PV Electric Panels which says no to power outages and other strange disasters that will take electricity. Monica is a strong writer and has re-written almost the entire website to adjust and dot the i’s and cross the t’s. Monica also works with the images provided on the website as well by touching up the spots or just redoing the image completely. Due to all the computer work and photography work Monica does, she has recently purchased a portable solar power system to power her laptop even while she’s on the go.
