Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza is a music festival held every year that features alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock and hip hop musical performers, as well as dance and comedy performers. There is also a large selection of craft booths from local, national and international artisans. Core to their mission is providing a platform for non-profit and political action groups. Lollapalooza began in 1995 and ran until 1997. After a several year hiatus, the festival was reborn in 2003, and has been running annually to growing crowds since 2005.
