Our 6v and 7v flexible solar panels are compact and small making them easy to travel with and they provide you with the charge you need.
Our 6-7v OEM series flexible modules are great for integrating into your custom solar battery charger. With solder pads at both ends of the solar cells, it makes interconnecting our 6-7v flexible series modules a simple task.
Each of our thin film solar cells solve the old problem with solar cells being too heavy, fragile, bulky and most importantly, not flexible. The durable, paper-thin, light weight thin film solar cells make carrying, transporting, and shipping of any solar cells easy and hassle free. This allows for places of dangerous terrain to even be able to access this new technology making there environment more energy free from gas and other fossil fuels.
Each solar cell can be soldered on the copper tape at the end of each solar cell and all have an extra seal of weatherproof protection and adhesion. For secure connection we recommend crimping on the copper tab, ribbon or use of a soldering iron if available.
U.S. Army Natick Soldier Center & Soldier Systems Center is also working to develop nanotechnology-based solar panels that can be woven directly into fabric. Thus, they’ll be able to embed the solar technology directly into tents and uniforms, providing a camouflaged power source. Natick is partnering with Konarka Technologies to develop this particular technology.
Each solar thin film flexible solar panel comes prebuilt with a thin glazed UV-stabilized surface which increases resistance to weather and other foreign objects that may cause damage to other solar cells. The tin coat copper leads extend off of most modules allowing for easy access to connect these 6v and 7v solar modules without damaging the flexible module.
