AquaJet MaxFlow Solar Waterfall Kit
The MaxFlow 50 is the largest solar fountain pump for our standard solar pump kits. It’s a direct power (runs on the sun) high volume pump kit designed for use with pond aeration projects or backyard waterfalls. Made in New York, the AquaJet Maxflow series solar waterfall pump kits deliver high volume water pumping powered by the sun. For year’s we’ve been missing a high volume solar water fall pump system which truly allows for someone to build your own solar waterfall.

Tech Specs
Here’s how it works:
- The solar panel directly powers the submerged solar waterfall pump kit (we also have battery storage options if you are interested in providing power to your solar pump kit when the sun goes down). For more information please call our sales team as the system design will be according to your climate and desired operating time.
- Install the included solar panel directly on a flat roof, ground, or top of pole (please select the mounting option at checkout).
- Install the submersible pump at the lowest basin of your waterfall
- Carefully install plastic tubing (below we include the proper size tubing for this pump and waterfall application).
- Each kit includes outdoor rated wire for direct burial. Connectors are watertight plug and play connectors, no complicated wiring needed.

This solar pump kit really MOVES water! Wow. I’ve had several other AC powered pumps, which worked great in the past, however I wanted to move my fish tanks away from where we currently have power. The pumps is very quiet, unless some of the versions you can purchase for less (which are noisy high RPM pumps).
Solar panels is good quality. Mounting was simple, just attached to the top of my roof. For extending the cable, they include a long cable to begin with, so I didn’t need any extensions.
The outlet nozzle can fit several sizes of tubing, which is nice (I didn’t need that, but still a nice feature).
Filtering: I would suggest making sure you have a filter around the pump, while there is a filter inside, this pumps moves a lot of water.
Hope this helps. The team at Silicon Solar was pleasant to work with. Real people, didn’t know that still existed when you order something online.
