How do Thermosyphon Solar Hot Water Collectors work?
Remember that hot air rises and cold air sinks, well water acts the same way. The cold water that goes into the storage tank sinks down through the evacuated tubes, where it is heated and rises back up into the storage tank again. The process continues until all the water in the system is heated.
