Replacement 12-Volt DC Motor

The Replacement Sealed 12-Volt DC Motor is compatible with the RV Evaporative Air Cooler. Inside of the RV Evaporative Air Cooler, the 12-Volt DC Motor is attached powering the impeller and the spin-spray pump. However, if your motor is not working, neither will your impeller or your spray pump. A good sign your 12-Volt DC Motor may need replacing is inadequate cooling.

The Replacement Sealed 12-Volt DC Motor sits inside of the RV Evaporative Air Cooler attached to the impeller. As the motor begins to work, the impeller starts to spin, allowing the spin-spray pump to move the water through the filter. Inadequate cooling is a good reason to check your motor. If the motor is not powering the impeller, the spin-spray pump will not be able to move the water correctly through the filter.

When reassembling motor assembly into body assembly:
Spin the air impeller to be sure it turns freely.
If it rubs on the edge of the venturi opening, loosen the 3 screws (H)
and move assembly to obtain uniform spacing through a full turn.
To reassemble, reverse steps.
