Heat Transfer Medium – Propylene Glycol

Propylene Glycol is a non-toxic, virtually odourless, hygroscopic liquid  that prevents the surfaces of heat exchangers from being corroded, and ensures consistently high thermal efficiency.  The corrosion inhibitors contained in the Glycol reliably protect the metals normally used in solar installations and other heating equipment against corrosion, aging, and deposits over long periods of time.

Application:
No sustained temperatures over 170 C (338 F) as this would result in aging of the antifreeze medium. Do not use with heat exchangers galvanized on the primary side.

Only store in the original container.
