Whisper 500 Wind Turbine: In 2004, the Whisper 500 Wind Turbine was completely redesigned. The new design adds durability and performance which is not found in earlier models. The 500 is rated at a maximum of 3200 watts and it can produce significant amounts of power on many wind sites. The Battery Charge Controller (optional) is required for most installations. The Controller features a built in resistance heat dump load, LED status indicators and the ability to accept input from a #40 wind speed anemometer heat (option). A remote readout panel is also available, which allows monitoring of the turbine up to 1000 ft from the controller mounting location.

CAUTION: The Whisper 500 is a fairly quiet wind turbine, however the unit may produce significant blade noise during high wind events, especially if batteries are full. Installation of this turbine should be limited to rural areas, removed from adjacent neighbors.
