Product FAQ: Lights
Solution
Product FAQ:
Q:
Can I place my solar lights anywhere on my property?
A:
Yes, providing the location you choose gives it the required amount of sunlight it takes to charge the battery.
Q:
Why is this light so much more powerful than other similar solar lights offered on the market?
A:
Our lights are more powerful in the fact that our products operate at 9-12,000mcd whereas other retailers offer only 3-4,000mcd.
Q:
My solar light isn't as bright as when I first received it.
A:
You may need to replace the batteries in your light. You can purchase them through Silicon Solar or use a compatible battery from your local store. Before you replace your batteries, place your light in direct sunlight to test if it is receiving the required light for the solar panel to recharge the batteries.
Q:
Will rain affect my light?
A:
No. All of our outdoor lights are designed to handle the weather. Unless it is an unusual thing, like lightning hitting it, your light will not be harmed by the weather. We do recommend bringing them inside during the winter, but it is not necessary.
