Our SunMaxx Pool Heater Kits are designed to deliver optimum performance and efficiency in nearly every climate at an affordable price and they can be installed in a single day for most pool applications. By using Evacuated Tube Solar Collectors or Flat Plate Solar Collectors you can easily extend your swimming season, opening your pool earlier in the year and leaving it open later in the year. In certain areas the swimming season can be extended to year round.

How Solar Pool Heaters Work:

As the sun strikes the Solar Collectors, your Heat Transfer Fluid (which is either water or a water-glycol mix) is heated. The HTF from the Solar Collector Loop heats the water from the swimming pool within the Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger as it runs through the standard pool filter/pump circuit. Installation Basics:

Basic Installation requires that your Solar Collectors be mounted directly to your roof or other applicable location and be plumbed in a closed loop system where the water from your pool meets the HTF (Heat Transfer Fluid) from your Solar Collector Loop at the Heat Exchanger. Basic skills required for this installation are:

• Plumbing connections
• Sweating copper or PEX pipes
• Connecting electrical controller, pumps and other equipment
• Roof mounting solar collectors
