Hello, I'm new here. I've spent the afternoon viewing scores of web pages searching for informative sites to help me delve into the solar power arena.
Silicon Solar is one of two that I have settled on. I, like many other people, entered the world of solar with landscape lighting. Last year we bought a solar fencer for our horse pasture. We enclose about 6 acres and I have been impressed by the output (it's zapped me a few times) and sustainability
even with long periods of sunless skies. We are now building a small barn to
replace the run-in. I would like to light it with solar and possibly heat the water trough as well. The current heater uses 120v & 15 amps. I'm way out of my league here and would appreciate any help in educating me. If this turns out to be easier than I anticipate, the house is next!
