The Solar Circuit Kit includes:

• Solar Cell
• Rechargeable battery (Ni-Cd 6oo mA, 1.V, AA Size)
• LED (Light Emitting Diode)
• Wiring
• Breaker switch
• Circuit board

Experimenters can test to see when the solar panel is charging the battery and at what point the circuit tells the battery to discharge power to the LED. The circuit board included in the kit signals the battery to discharge electricity when it reads that the solar cell is no longer charging the battery. Therefore, the LED turns on even when you simply cover the solar panel or place it in a dark enough area. All required wiring in the Solar Circuit Kit is included, making assembly easy and safe.
