Silicon Solar Employee Appears in Local Paper
Recently one of Silicon Solar’s own was featured in a local Tri-Town news paper promoting Renewable Energy. Sales Representative Jen Lyczko who specializes in Solar Lighting, dedicated an afternoon to introducing an extensive line of solar garden products to the local Sidney Rotary Club. Jen discussed topics including the benefits of solar lighting and how to bring Renewable Energy into daily lives.

The Rotary Presentation ended with Jen demonstrating the construction and operation of a Solar Tri-Cycle which operates off a 6V solar pump. As the water is pump through tubing, the water flows down from bowl to bowl and is then recycled back up through the tubing. The Solar Hot Water field was also a topic of interest as Jen met with the Rotary members. Recently, Silicon Solar presented a SunMaxx Solar Hot Water Heater to a local high school for educational purposes.
The Sidney Rotary Club is a non-profit organization that helps promote world understanding through humanitarian service and educational and cultural exchanges. The Sidney Rotary Club works with local area schools in promoting the Rotary Youth Exchange which allows youth age 15-19 to take short or long term trips with host families in different countries. These trips help build character and give an unforgettable lifetime experience. The Rotary Club offers multiple Educational Programs to support scholarships, grants, and group studies.
