The Replacement 5 Blade 10" Fan is compatible with the RV Evaporative Air Cooler. Inside of the RV Evaporative Air Cooler, the 5 Blade 10" Fan is attached to the 12-Volt DC Motor and the Spin-Spray Pump, pushing the water through the filter. A good sign that your 5 Blade 10" Fan may need replacing is excessive vibrations or your unit is not operating.

The Replacement 5 Blade 10" Fan sits inside of the RV Evaporative Air Cooler attached to the 12-Volt DC Motor and the Spin-Spray Pump. As the motor begins to work, it slowly starts to turn the impeller, allowing the spin-spray pump to move the water through the filter. A good hint that something may be wrong with the fan is if the unit itself is not working. That means the motor or the fan is not being powered. Another good hint is excessive vibrations. That hints that something could be lose or a blade may be broken and need replacing.

Excess Vibration:
1. Check fan blades and pump cone, rotating
by hand. Note whether fan blades are broken or if cone set screw is loose.
Are fan blades hitting filter or edge of venturi opening?
2. Check for loose screws, loose or deteriorated
rubber motor mounting bushings. Replace if needed.
