Pre-Packaged Solar Radiant Heating Kit for 1000 ft2 Homes: The HH-1000 is specifically designed as a small, introductory Solar Solar Radiant Heating System. This is our smallest pre-packaged home heating kit, and is designed to provide high-efficiency solar thermal heating to offset the cost of the Oil, Propane or Natural Gas that currently heats your home. The HH-1000 is designed to be used in a Concrete Slab Radiant Heating System where your PEX tubing is within the concrete floor, utilizing the natural radiant and thermal storage properties of the concrete to provide efficient heating as needed. However, the system can also be utilized for baseboard and wood floor heating, as well in a forced hot air system through the addition of an Air to Water Heat Exchanger within the plenum of your furnace.

The HH-1000 Includes the following components:

• (2) SunMaxx-30 Evacuated Tube Solar Collectors with Tilt Mount Hardware
• (1) 275 Gallon Commercial Solar Storage Tank
• (1) 60'/120' Stacked Copper Coil Heat Exchanger
• (1) 40'/160' Stacked Copper/PEX Coil Heat Exchanger
• (1) Differential Temperature Controller for Solar Loop Control
• (1) Energy Management Controller for Backup Heating System
• (1) TACO 007 Ciculator for Zone Heating Circulation
• (1) TACO 0011 Circulator for Solar Loop Circulation

The HH-1000 is designed to provide all of the following functions:

• One Zone Radiant Heating through Internal Heat Exchanger
• Domestic Hot Water Pre-Heating through Internal Heat Exchanger

• System Design Head: 30 ft
• Heating Zones: 1
• Heating Oil Offset: 192 Gallons per year
• Energy Savings: $917 (based on current average oil price)

How to Install:

Installation of our prepackage solar hot water heating systems requires the customer to have a basic understanding of pumping systems.

The customer should also understand how to:

• Sweat copper pipes or pex piping
• Read pumping schematics
• Wire 120v electric or 12v DC electric pumps
• Determine if roof is capable of supporting additional weight of collectors (typically not a problem)
