Silicon Solar Raising Public Awareness of Alternative Energy

Silicon Solar is a solar manufacturing company that is getting the word out about a new solar technology that is more than four times as efficient as traditional solar panels. This technology heats buildings and their water supplies using energy from the sun, instead of burning fossil fuels. It works by converting solar energy into thermal (heat) energy, which is then used for heating. The savings can pay for itself in two to eight years, with that number decreasing as energy prices rise. The highest energy cost in a house comes from its heating. Replacing traditional heating systems with solar heating is one of our best hopes for reducing our carbon emissions.
