Large Portable Solar

the Large Portable Solar Power System utilizes Silicon Solar's 15 watt
thin-film solar module for charging batteries. With over 1A of charging
current, the module provides up to 85 watts per day of charging power (*watts
per day vary with amount of sunshine).
Our System400 solar
portable power system provides reliable AC power which can be used in powering
your standard AC devices such as lights, computers and other devices which
require less than 400 watts of power.
These systems include
a sealed 12v gel cell 5 amp hour battery (optional 12V 22 amp hour battery is ideal
for users with higher energy demands), a 400 watt continuous inverter, an internal
charge controller (blocking diode) and a 17 watt solar panel. The user-friendly
system fits inside a small case and it is lightweight. It is a highly
recommended choice among our camping and RV customers. These systems allow you
to operate or charge small electronic devices such as small laptops, cell
phones, pda's, mp3 players, battery chargers, small cordless drills and
dvd players.
Each system includes
the necessary components for the “base” of your solar power system. We
recommend increasing the battery size (you might try deep cycle batteries) in
order to achieve longer hours of operation. To help save on shipping, we
recommend purchasing deep cycle batteries at a local hardware store.
