A completely weatherproof solar panel eliminates the common problems of weathering and corrosion which can occur with most battery chargers. These chargers work by storing the energy which is generated by sunlight during the day in the specified storage batteries.

Built-in diode protection prevents battery drainage during the evening hours or times when the solar panel is not exposed to sunlight.
