Each system includes the primary components required when installing a solar hot water heating system. Hot Water Production (DHW):

Each system is designed to produce 65 gallons of domestic hot water per day in a northern latitude climate. The system will produce more hot water in warmer climates which receive additional insolation. Please note that hot water temperatures are designed to reach 130 degrees Fahrenheit.

How to Install:

Installation of our prepackaged solar hot water heating systems requires the customer to have a basic understanding of pumping systems.

The customer should also understand how to:

• Sweat copper pipes or pex piping
• Read pumping schematics
• Wire 120v electric or 12v DC electric pumps
• Determine if a roof is capable of supporting the additional weight of the collectors (typically not a problem)
