Air Breeze .2kw Wind Electric Turbine (off grid):
The Air Breeze is a well proven battery charging wind turbine from Silicon Solar. This 200 watt micro machine is effective for battery charging at your remote cabin, on your boat, or as a backup power source for your home. The Air Breeze weighs only 13 lbs and features a tough cast aluminum body. The unit is designed to be mounted on a suitable 2 inch (od) mast and has a maximum side thrust of 150 pounds.

The Air Breeze is the latest version of the Air series and incorporates an internal (adjustable) electronic battery charge regulator. The new Air Breeze electronics also limit propeller speed during very high winds and when your batteries are fully charged, making the Breeze a much quieter machine than earlier Air versions. Air Breeze units are available in 12, 24 and 48 vdc outputs.

Options available for the Air breeze unit include: tower kits, battery circuit breakers, stop switch (brings the blades to a near stop whenever you like) and an amp meter to show electrical output. Select the "marine" option and the aluminum body gets powder coated to help resist the effects of salt water and spray. The Air Breeze is perfectly suited for use at homes, small offices, farms, RV parks, campsites, and remote getaway locations to provide an affordable, efficient and clean supply of power.

The Air Breeze can even be attached directly to your RV/camper battery to provide power wherever you are parked. Pick a windy campsite and you can minimize your onboard generator use or perhaps avoid the cost of an electrical hookup (see tower options, RV mount).
